Full time enrollment in a flight school is the most efficient and best way to learn to fly. But if you’re unable to make a full time commitment right now, then we’re probably your next best bet.
The Flight Center is the only flight school in the Chicagoland area, that specializes in the flight instruction of beginners and part-time students.
What does that mean?
Well, it means that, because of our specialization, we’ve learned how to solve the particular problems and nuances that come from someone who is not going to be able to devote their full time and energy to flying, but still would like to… learn to fly.
Most of our students are professional people who already have their careers set. They have little or no interest in aviation as a career. But, they are very interested in learning to fly because…they love flying. They’re looking for something different to do that is: challenging, fun, new, and exciting.
Flying is all that… and more!
But, this “part-time learning” sets up a set of truly unique problems that must be solved, because flying is a very complex, highly technical, and serious endeavor.
It obviously requires an entirely different type of flight training program for a 19 year old kid, who is devoting his full time and energy, with unlimited resources to his training, -than it does for a middle aged husband, who runs his own business, coaches little league, has 5 kids, a winter home in Orlando, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and only has time left over for one lesson a week.
The Flight Center has developed a highly sophisticated and detailed program that specializes in solving the unique problems that this situation presents.
